Covid-19, Oban Phoenix Cinema
Here you will find all the information you need to know before your next visit to your local cinema.
Test and Protect
When you book online, by phone or in person you will be asked for your name and phone number. This will help us to contact everyone as part of the government's strategy to stop the spread of covid-19.
Please do not come to the cinema if you have symptoms. This includes a high temperature, a new continuous dry cough, loss of taste or smell. You can book a test at: www.nhs.uk
All staff have been trained on COVID-19 and the measures put in place to keep you safe. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns. email@example.com
Hand Sanitising Stations & Screens
There will be hand sanitising stations throughout the foyer, please use these! Plastic screens will be in position on the box office/concessions desk for both your safety and the safety of staff.
These must be worn when entering and moving around the cinema. Face masks/coverings can be removed once seated to have food and drink. Those who are exempt and Under 5s do not need to wear face coverings.
Socially distanced seating has been removed, and our seating layouts have been returned to their original state. While rules regarding social distancing have been removed, we will still try to seat everyone apart where possible. If you would like to know how busy a screening is, give us a call or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - weekdays are always better to avoid crowds. As ever we recommend booking ahead and arriving 10-15 minutes before the advertised showtime to avoid crowds.
Staff will be cleaning facilities regularly to ensure counters, door handles, seats, and bathrooms are clean. Please use our waste and recycling bins after the show.
We recommend that you book in advance and purchase tickets online, and pay by contactless payment where possible.
You may notice there is extra time between each show. This is to allow staff to clean and sanitise seats and cupholders between shows.
